چکیده

Tannery industrial effluent is one of the most difficult wastewater types since it contains a huge concentration organic, oil, and chrome (Cr). This study successfully prepared applied bimetallic Fe/Cu nanoparticles (Fe/Cu NPs) for removal. In beginning, NPs was equilibrated by pure aqueous solution at different operating conditions (lab scale), then nanomaterial in semi full scale. The indicated that able to adsorb 68% 33% Cr initial concentrations 1 9 mg/L, respectively. removal occurred pH 3 using 0.6 g/L dose, stirring rate 200 r/min, contact time 20 min, constant temperature ± 2ºC. Adsorption isotherm proved Khan model appropriate with minimum error sum 0.199. According khan, maximum uptakes 20.5 mg/g Cr. Kinetic results Pseudo Second Order mechanism least possible 0.098 adsorption chemisorption. Response surface methodology (RSM) equation developed significant p-value = 0 label relations between experimental parameters. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) were performed structure 5-4-1 achieved effect dose dominated variable Application real tannery showed its ability degrade disinfect organic biological contaminants addition adsorption. reduction chemical oxygen demand (COD), (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), phosphorus (TP), nitrogen (TN), Cr, hydrogen sulfide (H 2 S), oil reached 61.5%, 49.5%, 44.8%, 100%, 38.9%, 96.3%, 88.7%, 29.4%,

Cd (II) Removal from Aqueous Solutions by Adsorption on Henna and Henna with Chitosan Microparticles Using Response Surface Methodology

In this research, the capabilities of Henna and Henna with chitosan microparticles adsorbents were studied in order to remove the ion Cd (II). Response Surface Method (RSM) and Central Composite Design (CCD) were used to minimize the number of experiments (21 runs) for Henna and (26 runs) for the Henna with chitosan microparticles. The parameters were pH (2-9), initial solution concentratio...

Modeling and Optimization of Arsenic (III) Removal from Aqueous Solutions by GFO Using Response Surface Methodology

Arsenic is a highly toxic element for human beings, which is generally found in groundwater. Dissolved Arsenic in water can be seen as As+3 and As+5 states. The adsorption process is one of the available methods to remove Arsenic from aqueous solutions. Thus, this papers aims at removing Arsenic (III) from aqueous solutions through adsorption on iron oxide granules. The relation among four inde...
